This move addresses the growing global nature of badminton and coaches seeking international opportunities. MAs can now have their credentials recognised based on a common BWF measure, simplifying coaches’ career progression. National-level coaches whose MAs have undergone successful applications have already gained equivalency to BWF Coach Education Level 1 or Level 2. This can facilitates further international coaching education and potential advancement to higher levels as well as BWF Disability Coach certification. The initiative aims to streamline coach development and foster clarity in qualifications, promoting opportunities and employability for coaches worldwide.
