The Badminton World Federation (BWF) and World Academy of Sport (WAoS) have extended the deadline for application for the Bachelor of International Sport Management degree.
Following the first application process that originally ended on 20 August 2021, BWF and WAoS have extended the application process as some players were involved in preparing for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games.
One fully funded scholarship and four 25 per cent scholarships are available for the Bachelor of International Sport Management degree offered by WAoS and Federation University.
Course Duration
The fully online course can be completed in three years full-time or up to 10 years part-time and has been developed through identifying the increasing demand from athletes to be more dual-career minded and the need from industry professionals for more flexible study options to progress within the sports industry.
Additionally, the programme recognises that combining local context with an international overlay is increasingly more significant in all aspects of sports management.
To be eligible to receive the scholarship for the Bachelor of International Sport Management, applicants should:
Have completed High School diploma (or equivalent) and transcripts to be submitted with application.
An English language level of IELTS: at least 6.0 overall, with 6.0 in the written test or other equivalent proficiency certification.
