Meet Paniz, whose “Parallel Play” is Making History

Paniz Yousefi, a BWF badminton coach from Sweden, was appointed one of the International Olympic Committee’s (IOC) Young Leaders earlier this year. To her credit, the 25-year-old has been spearheading ‘Parallel Play’, a coaching programme aimed at teaching badminton to children and young adults with disabilities.

BWF Female Participation Grant: A Golden Success

Nine female Para badminton players are reaping the benefits of the BWF Female Participation Grant, all of which participated in the Spanish Para Badminton International 2021, the final para qualifying event before Tokyo 2020 Paralympics in Cartagena, Spain last month.

Badminton Flies High in Tunisia

A series of development activities to further develop and promote badminton in the country were held from 11–23 March 2021 by the Tunisia Badminton Federation with support from BCA Development Officer Ahmad Reda and BWF Dubai Badminton Development Manager Jaffer Ebrahim.
